Ministry of Education proposes ‘Mann Ki Baat’ banners at education institutions ahead of 100th episode

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has proposed to disseminate information about the 100th episode of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’, a radio programme hosted by the Prime Minister, across universities and colleges and higher education institutes by displaying Mann Ki Baat banners in the campuses.

An official notification issued last week said, “On the occasion of the 100th episode of the Mann Ki Baat, it is proposed to invite suggestions and ideas from all the citizens across the nation to make it more inclusive so that it leaves a long-lasting impression.”

“All students are guided to share their suggestions through MyGov portal by recording their suggestion in 30 seconds by dialling a toll free number on the portal or scanning a QR code present on the same to send suggestions as per the instructions laid out by the MoE,” the notification added.

It further said, “As education is fundamental for achieving full human potential, developing an equitable and just society and promoting national development and towards this goal Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) are one of the critical stakeholders for brainstorming and disseminations of knowledge information.”
