The picturesque island of Mallorca is set to host the 13th season of Love Island UK as the villa reopens to welcome a fresh batch of contestants.
The show, hosted by Maya Jama, will kick off its new season on ITV2, premiering on Monday, June 1 at 9 p.m., and will also be available for streaming on ITVX. In the United States, viewers can catch the series on Hulu.
This season, the villa will be home to 12 new Islanders from various backgrounds, all entering in the hopes of finding romance, with some surprise new arrivals expected to stir things up.

The initial group of 12 Islanders includes Aidan Murphy (23, Kent), Angelista (24, Staffordshire), Ellie Chadwick (24, West Lothian), Jasmine Müller (27, Dubai), Lola Deal (28, Kent), Lorenzo Alessi (28, Hertfordshire), Mica Harris (21, London), Ope Sowande (27, Lincolnshire), Robyn Langton (21, Liverpool), Samraj Toor (25, Birmingham), Sean Fitzgerald (25, Galway), and Sam Workman (25, Dudley).

Prior to the show’s launch, host Maya Jama shared her perspective on what traits make a standout Islander.
“Self-awareness is key. Those who truly connect with the audience are those who know themselves, or are at least open to discovering themselves on screen,” Jama remarked. “Confidence is beneficial, but being genuine is what really helps someone stand out.”

Jama also offered some advice to the Islanders: “Remain open-minded, be inquisitive, and don’t shy away from being your true self—it often leads to more intriguing outcomes than trying to play the game perfectly.”
