Arsenal drew 2-2 at home to ten-man Fulham FC in the Premier League on Saturday, denying Mikel Arteta’s side a provisional top spot in the table.
Fulham struck gold in 57 seconds when Andreas Pereira capitalized on a loose back pass from Bukayo Saka and the midfielder saw goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale well off his line, who pulled the trigger from 30 yards out to score and silence the home crowd.
But Arsenal won a penalty after the hour for a foul on Fabio Vieira and Saka retaliated with a commanding penalty in the pouring rain. Arsenal made it 2-1 two minutes later when Vieira fired in a cross for Eddie Nketiah.
Fulham were reduced to 10 men when Calvin Bassey received a second yellow card for a cynical foul on Nketiah to prevent a counter-attack, but they equalized in the 87th minute when Joao Palhinha fired in from a corner and stuff saved a point.

Arsenal player ratings: Vieira exceptional but tough day for Havertz
Arsenal were stunned by the Fulham side of ten at the Emirates Stadium and lost points in the Premier League for the first time this season.
Andreas Pereira opened the scoring after capitalizing on a sloppy pass from Bukayo Saka and scoring after just 57 seconds.
Eddie Nketiah and Fabio Vieira thought they had won the game from the bench as Arsenal regained the lead.
First, Vieira converted a penalty for Saka with his dash into the box and equalized with a penalty. Just two minutes later, Vieira leveled the ball again with a cross for Nketiah.
Joao Palhinha leveled from a corner after releasing poor Arsenal cover, while Calvin Bassey had been sent off moments earlier after conceding a second yellow card.
