Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega have not been seen next to each other since the former star left AEW. However, both men appeared on a Netflix show and took to social media to react.
Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is one of Netflix’s newest animated series for adults. The show revolves around the title character and is loosely set in the same world as the Far Cry 3 spin-off video game, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Kenny Omega recently responded to a clip of his appearance on the show on X and urged fans to watch it. He also teased Cody Rhodes’ appearance.
“If the overwhelmingly positive reviews aren’t enough, believe me, #CaptainLaserhawk on #Netflix is a blast! (Not an attempt at self-promotion at all.) Maybe you’ll see one of my old friends show up too 😉,” Omega posted.
Cody Rhodes also responded to a clip of his performance, but was much more subtle.
“🤯 @NetflixAnime,” Rhodes wrote.
It is currently unclear whether The American Nightmare and Kenny Omega will clash in the series or not, but it appears that both appearances will be short-lived. Furthermore, if the two men met in the studio during recording, they have not released any pictures of their time together.

Cody Rhodes, in particular, had a lot to say about The Elite re-signing with AEW earlier this year
For a few months, it seemed like Kenny Omega, Hangman Page and The Young Bucks might have parted ways with AEW. At this time, CM Punk was also becoming a bigger name in the promotion, and given their heat, many feared that The Elite would move to WWE to avoid him.
When it was announced that the men had chosen to remain with AEW instead, and during an appearance at the WWE SummerSlam Service Experience, Cody Rhodes praised the move.
“I don’t want to sound cheesy or cheesy, but knowing that your colleagues and people who are going through all of this and have the kind of physical difficulties that this gig brings, knowing that they’re getting paid, is really exciting. “I’m overjoyed that this group did what they did because I think, as Nick Jackson said, they made some NBA money doing it.” [H/T: Haus of Wrestling]
It remains to be seen whether or not Cody Rhodes will ever reunite with The Elite. However, it looks like the men are still close and probably still keep in touch.
