Apparently, Hugh Jackman is currently Wolverine and will be reprising the role at least one more time in the upcoming Marvel film Deadpool 3. But he’s been a Wolverine for over 20 years. And unlike Logan, Hugh Jackman is a mortal human who doesn’t possess a sinister healing factor that slows down the aging process. Jackman is 55 years old. He looks great for his age, but he won’t be able to keep it up forever.

So who will he be? next Wolverine? Marvel isn’t going to just retire the character, especially since they’re just beginning to introduce the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the most frequently mentioned candidates for the job is former Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe. Although he repeatedly denies that there is any truth to the rumor, fans continue to believe it – especially after Radcliffe’s recent surge in shape, leading to further speculation that he was in training to become Marvel’s most famous and hairiest mutant play.

But Radcliffe continues to insist it simply isn’t true. Conduct a new interview for Vanity Fair — chained to a lie detector no less – he claimed he was not the person who started the rumor, And insisted his increasing muscles had nothing to do with Marvel or Wolverine.

“So you got buffed for no reason?” asked his current Broadway co-star (and lie detector test inquisitor) Lindsay Mendez.

“Yes!” Radcliffe laughed. “I got a buff… because I’m possessed.”

He went on to say that his parents placed a lot of emphasis on fitness, so it was something that was ingrained in him – and not from Kevin Feige or Charles Xavier or whoever. Here you go.
