Hollywood’s many major releases by dune part 2 to Zendayas challenger have been postponed to next year while other big projects like dead pool 3, gladiators and many others have halted filming for the time being.
As the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) joins the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, production on several films has been suspended indefinitely.
As the strike continues in Hollywood, actors have stopped promoting their recently released films as a show of solidarity.
Movies whose release has been postponed
dune part 2
The big-budget release by Warner Bros dune part 2 was one of this year’s most anticipated films after the first installment hit theaters as a blockbuster in 2021 and grossed $402 million at the global box office. Directed by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, the Leading Actor film has an outstanding cast and is a science fiction plot adaptation of the 1965 novel by Frank Herbert.
dune part 2 The release is now slated for March 15, 2024, the same date previously set for the other Warner Bros. film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. godzilla will now be released on April 12, 2024. This also led to the animation Lord of the rings to move the release from April 2024 to December 2024.

Zendaya’s other big project, challenger, starring Luca Guadagnino with Mike Faist and Josh’O Connor is a love triangle set against the backdrop of tennis drama. The film, which was due to hit theaters on September 15 this year, is now hitting theaters on April 26, 2024.
Rap Sh!t
Issa Rae, known as President Barbie, is hitting another smash release – the hip-hop show, which portrays a teenage girl who dreams of becoming a rapper while her mother struggles to make ends meet get. The show was scheduled to release on August 10th, but the creators have now pushed back the release to November 9th to support the strike.

Featuring an outstanding cast including Shailene Woodley, Pete Davidson, Sebastian Stan and America Ferrera stupid money is inspired by everyday investors who outsmart Wall Street investors and get rich investing in stocks of video games and electronics retailers from Gamestop. The film was originally scheduled for release on September 22, 2023. However, it was postponed to a later date, October 6th. Sony Pictures has now changed its release strategy, announcing a limited theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles on September 15th and extending the national release to October 6th.

The world-renowned film by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman dead pool 3 to Priyanka Chopra heads of stateRidley Scotts gladiator Consequence, Minecraft, Spiderman Spiderverse and many other major productions have halted filming and post-production work for an uncertain period in support of the strike.
The Hollywood Writers Guild Association (WGA) is on strike, demanding equal treatment, opportunity, fair compensation and deserved recognition. The strike, which began in May this year, is backed by the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
