Prime Video has announced that it has renewed its ongoing spin-off The Boys Gen V for a Season 2 ahead of the conclusion of the first season early next month.

Variety confirmed that the raunchy superhero series has been renewed for a second season on Prime Video just weeks after its first season premiered. Several people involved with the series commented on the announcement of Gen V season 2.

“We couldn’t be happier to be making a second season of Gen V,” said showrunner Michele Fazekas and executive producer Eric Kripke. “These are characters and stories that we have come to love, and we are happy that people feel the same way!
