It has been over three years since any new news first broke Goose flesh TV series based on the popular children’s horror book series by author RL Stine. During the book series’ heyday in the 1990s, a TV series was also produced that ran for 74 episodes over four seasons. More recently, Goose flesh became two live-action horror films for children. (The first of the two, starring Jack Black, is actually really good.)
Finally, three years later, we have the new show. It premieres on Disney+ and Hulu on October 13th (a Friday, of course) with the first five episodes of the ten-episode season. From there, new episodes follow weekly. (The first two episodes will also air on Freeform on October 13.) The show comes from Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman, the director of the first Goose flesh Movie. That seems to be a good sign that the show has the right tone and feel, offering just the right amount of scares for younger viewers.
