Whether you use it for free or pay for the additional stats, it’s a great way to track and review the movies you watch. One of the few things you couldn’t do on it was look up theater times. However, that will soon change Letterboxd is adding airtime for members in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Letterboxd co-founder Matthew Buchanan summed up the exciting news by saying: “Airtime has been on our radar for a long time because we’re keen to offer it to our members – another way to make Letterboxd the one place they turn to when choosing what they want want to see next.” We gave the feature film a little less priority than Covid as seeing films in the cinema wasn’t our top priority!” He continued: “Now that audiences are returning to theaters, it seemed like the right time to add this feature.” The platform is We’re working with aggregator Assemble on the new addition, which includes 9,000 screens with major chains like Regal and Cinemark Join in the fun. However, theaters not included in Assemble may submit their own showtimes to the aggregator.
