Khattar meets Sonipat MP, MLAs, seeks feedback on projects
To seek feedback on ongoing development works and projects to be launched in the area, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar Friday met MP, MLAs and other panchayat body members of Sonipat parliamentary constituency.
Sonipat Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Kaushik, MLAs Mohan Lal Badoli (Rai), Nirmal Chaudhary (Gannaur) and Krishan Midha (Jind), Sonipat Zila Parishad chairperson Mamta Dahiya and former minister Bachan Singh Arya were among those who attended the meeting on Friday. The meeting took place at the CM residence in Chandigarh.
The four-hour-long interaction was also attended by senior officers of revenue, agriculture and farmers welfare, finance, development and panchayat, health and family welfare, public health engineering department, social justice and empowerment and irrigation and water resources departments.
Addressing the citizens came from Sonipat, Khattar added that they are the prominent citizens of the area and it is their prime duty to have an eye on the ongoing schemes so as to ensure that the benefits of those reach the actual beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
The CM had started this initiative to get a first hand progress report of various development projects and schemes in the constituencies and to know the requirements of the people of the area for launching new projects.

Khattar added that some projects were announced but got delayed as the land acquisition process was stuck in litigation.
He said that to solve such problems, the state government has launched the e-Bhoomi Portal to ensure transparency in land deals for development projects.
