At least nine persons have been killed and 11 others are in critical condition after inhaling leaked poisonous gas in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Sunday. The incident took place in Giaspura.

Ludhiana South MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said the area has been sealed.

In a tweet, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that police personnel, and NDRF teams are conducting relief operations to rescue the injured.
