Woman shot dead, 2 booked
The Mumbai police booked two persons who allegedly shot dead a woman in the Mandala area of Mankhurd Saturday evening.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Farzana Shaikh, had a fight with another woman in the neighbourhood.
Following this, the woman’s husband and son attacked Farzana and fired a round at her and fled the spot, police said.
Farzana was rushed to the Rajawadi hospital where she was declared dead.
DCP (zone VI) Hemraj Rajput said, ” We have registered a murder case at the Mankhurd police station. Based on the CCTV footage the accused were identified and we will arrest them soon.” ens
