Rachel Zegler’s Lucy Gray Baird is the “anti-Katniss” on the show hunger games prequels The ballad of songbirds and snakes, according to director Francis Lawrence.

In addition to being the first tribute to the impoverished neighborhood, Lucy Gray is also the love interest of 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), the man who becomes the tyrannical President of Panem whom viewers met in the original trilogy.

Snow and Lucy’s race against time for survival combines their instinct for self-expression with newfound political flair and will ultimately show who is a songbird and who is a snake.”

Rounding out the film’s cast are Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Jason Schwartzman and Viola Davis.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Serpents hits theaters on November 17th.
