It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas movie season! Lifetime is the latest network to unveil its lineup of new holiday movies for the 2023 season, and the cable channel is all about nostalgia this year. From films with stars like Tia Mowry, Degrassi: The Next GenerationJake Epstein and Teri Hatcher form an appropriately titled ’80s team-up of epic proportions Ladies of the 80s: A Divas ChristmasLifetime serves up festive stories with lots of familiar faces.

This year’s lineup includes a total of 12 new Christmas films (a significant decrease from 2022’s impressive number of 26). Additionally, Lifetime’s sister channel LMN is launching a holiday thriller titled ” Silent night, deadly night, This brings the total number of new holiday films to 13. The It’s a Wonderful Lifetime event officially begins on Saturday, November 18th with the premiere of Christmas plus one stars Emily Alatalo and Corey Sevier and runs through December 23rd.

If that’s not enough holiday movies for you, Lifetime offers 60 holiday movies on the Lifetime website and app and through its video on demand (VOD) partners. Lifetime Movie Club subscribers can also watch 40 commercial-free Christmas movies starting October 20th.
