Season One Success and Future Expectations
The first season of Small Achievable Goals debuted in February on CBC and is currently available on the streaming platform CBC Gem. Recently, ITVX secured the UK rights to the series. The second season was greenlit earlier this year following positive feedback.
“The response to Small Achievable Goals has been overwhelmingly positive and engaging,” remarked Trish Williams, CBC’s Executive Director of Scripted Content. “Jennifer, Meredith, and the team at Sphere have crafted a show that is not only extremely funny but also deeply poignant. The upcoming season continues to delve into the narratives around menopause with boldness and humor.”
“We can’t wait to further explore the quirky dynamic between Julie and Kris as they navigate the tumultuous waves of menopause,” shared MacNeill and Whalen in a joint statement.
“We are thrilled to have kicked off the production for the second season and are excited to collaborate again with the wonderful cast, crew, and our partners at CBC,” stated Elise Cousineau, VP of Content, English Scripted, at Sphere Media. “We look forward to bringing audiences back into the lives of Kris, Julie, and all the beloved characters in the series.”
