The show, produced and distributed by Animaccord, is based on a classic Russian folk tale and follows the escapades of a young girl named Masha and her friend, a bear. The series has achieved global popularity, amassing billions of views on YouTube and enjoys a successful streaming presence on Netflix.
Animaccord has revealed that the upcoming episodes will introduce viewers to Masha’s first experience of kindergarten and will also include an exciting winter narrative involving the Yeti family. Expansion of an International Favorite
With this latest agreement, Netflix will be streaming seasons 8 and 9 of Masha and the Bear. This deal also ensures that Netflix will retain streaming rights to the initial seven seasons along with the spin-off series Masha’s Tales and Masha’s Spooky Stories.

Coverage extends to Asian territories such as India, Japan, Korea, and Malaysia, and reaches even to the Middle East and Latin America.
The immense popularity of Masha and the Bear on platforms like YouTube, followed by Netflix, has catapulted the series to the top tier of global preschool content, positioning it alongside other major franchises such as Cocomelon, Peppa Pig, and PAW Patrol. The series continues to be available on YouTube as well, where the official Masha channel boasts over 55 million subscribers.
