Oasis Concert Film Coming Soon: Steven Knight Takes on Production Role!

Steven Knight To Produce Oasis Concert Film

Oasis Documentary to Chronicle Reunion Tour

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has taken on the role of producer for a new film that will capture iconic British rock band Oasis during their upcoming summer reunion tour.

New Film “Oasis Live ‘25” Underway

The documentary, titled Oasis Live ‘25, is set to be helmed by directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who are known for their work on the concert film Shut Up And Play The Hits featuring LCD Soundsystem, as well as the documentary Meet Me In The Bathroom, which explores the music scene in New York City during the early 2000s.

Production of the film will be managed by Magna Studios. The producing team includes Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley, with executive producers Marisa Clifford and Kate Shepherd. Shepherd and Clifford bring a wealth of experience, having been involved in projects like Beastie Boys Story, Gangs Of London, 20000 Days On Earth, and Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now.

Sony Music Vision has acquired the distribution rights to the project, with Krista Wegener spearheading global sales for the film.

Oasis’s Highly Anticipated Reunion

Following widespread speculation in UK tabloids about Oasis documenting their reunion tour, the film project has now been officially confirmed. Oasis, who last performed together in 2009 due to a well-publicized fallout between the Gallagher brothers, has announced their return with 17 scheduled performances across the UK and Ireland starting next July in Cardiff. The overwhelming demand for tickets led to quick sellouts and exorbitant resale prices, prompting a government watchdog to investigate the ticket sales practices.

In response to the resale issues, the BBC reported that over 50,000 tickets sold through secondary platforms will be canceled. Live Nation and SJM, the promoters behind the band’s tour, assured that these tickets would be reissued at their original price via the official ticket outlet, Ticketmaster.
