Watch Clip Of Korean Crime Thriller ‘Yadang: The Snitch’, Starring ‘Squid Game 2’s Kang Ha-neul Ahead Of NA Release

EXCLUSIVE: We are thrilled to present an exclusive preview of the Korean movie Yadang: The Snitch, set to premiere in theaters across North America later this week.

Directed by Hwang Byeong-gug, this crime thriller will debut in both the U.S. and Canada this Friday (April 25). The film, distributed by Well Go USA Entertainment, has already garnered significant attention in South Korea, earning over $4M in its opening weekend.

In Yadang, viewers will see performances from Kang Ha-neul of Squid Game Season 2, Yoo Hae-jin from Exhuma, and Park Hae-joon of When Life Gives You Tangerines. The plot centers around Kang-suoo (played by Kang), a man who knows how to navigate street life and finds himself trapped between the forces of law and the criminal world. Wrongly imprisoned, he agrees to help ambitious prosecutor Kuoo Gkwan-hee (played by Yoo) by serving as an informant, in exchange for his release. However, he soon discovers that he is merely a small piece in a larger, dangerous game involving drug kingpins, crooked officials, and lethal schemes.

The production team, known for their work on 12:12 The Day and Inside Men, claims that this film is the first to delve into the real-life dynamics of ‘yadang’ – insiders who operate secretly between law enforcement agencies and the criminal underworld.

The film’s lead, Kang Ha-neul, has recently gained international recognition through his role in the latest season of the Netflix hit series Squid Game, where he starred alongside Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, and Wi Ha-joon.
