The female stars of the much-anticipated Hulu series The Testaments graced France with their presence on Saturday for the global debut of the show. Chase Infiniti left behind last weekend’s Oscar red carpet for a striking purple carpet event, marking the grand launch of this year’s Series Mania drama festival.
Infiniti was accompanied by fellow cast members Ann Dowd and Lucy Halliday, as well as the series creator Bruce Miller and producer Warren Littlefield at the premiere.
The series is set to stream globally on Disney+ starting next month. It features Agnes (played by Infiniti), a commander’s daughter who attends a prestigious school overseen by Aunt Lydia (portrayed by Dowd). Halliday takes on the role of Daisy, a newcomer to the school in this narrative about growing up.
Derived from Margaret Atwood’s 2019 novel, the series acts as a continuation of her critically acclaimed novel The Handmaid’s Tale, which has already seen a successful television adaptation. Elisabeth Moss, who starred in the original series, serves as an executive producer for this new installment, with MGM Television handling production.

Series Mania has consistently showcased premier U.S. series, beginning with the complete season of Mad Men at its first event in 2010. Recent premieres have included Netflix’s Three Body Problem and HBO’s Succession.
Established as Europe’s leading TV drama festival, Series Mania features a public festival alongside an industry-focused Forum. This year’s festival screenings include the AMC series The Audacity. A highlight of the Forum is a keynote discussion moderated by Deadline featuring Disney’s new EMEA originals head, Angela Jain.
