UTA Inks Deal With Gen-Z Icon Florence Given: Host of ‘Exactly’ Podcast Joins Elite Roster!

UTA Signs Gen-Z Content Creator & ‘Exactly’ Pod Host Florence Given

UTA Expands Creators Division by Signing Florence Given

United Talent Agency (UTA) has announced its latest addition to the creators division by signing Gen-Z content creator Florence Given. Given, an accomplished illustrator and author, has penned three books and hosted a successful podcast. She is also preparing to launch a new podcast soon. UTA aims to help Given broaden her reach in various domains including entertainment, live events, brand collaborations, and intellectual property development.

Florence Given is well-known for her previous podcast, Exactly, where she discussed topics such as sex, relationships, and the impacts of social media with notable guests including Munroe Bergdorf, Sofie Hagen, and Jameela Jamil. She is also gearing up for her upcoming project, The Florence Given Show. UTA describes this new venture as a dynamic mix of visual and audio content that will showcase Given’s philosophies and inspire women to assert themselves more boldly in society. The promotional material for this forthcoming podcast declares, “This is the show you listen to when you’re done playing it SMALL.”

In addition to her media projects, Given has been an active voice in social issues. She initiated a widely-supported petition demanding the cancellation of the Netflix series Insatiable, criticizing the show for promoting harmful diet culture and objectifying women’s bodies. The petition garnered significant attention and hundreds of thousands of signatures.

Given has also made a mark with her literary work, having authored three books titled Women Don’t Owe You Pretty, Girl Crush, and Women Living Deliciously. These works delve into feminism, sexuality, self-exploration, and the contemporary experiences of women.

While UTA will represent her in expanding her influence across various platforms, Florence Given will continue her publishing representation with Abigail Bergstrom at Bergstrom Studios in the UK. Given joins other notable figures in UTA’s creators division such as Elizabeth Day, Jamie Laing, and Sophie Habboo. The trend of signing young, dynamic content creators like Given is growing in the UK, as demonstrated by the recent announcement from Maya Jama’s agency, Insanity, which has also expanded its roster by appointing four new talent managers and signing over a dozen new creators.
