Prime Video has recently unveiled The Devil’s Mouth, showcasing a gory preview of its latest horror thriller.
The soon-to-be-released survival horror movie depicts the story of five university students on a holiday in Thailand who decide to explore a secluded cave network known as The Devil’s Mouth with a local guide. The adventure soon turns into a horrifying experience as they find themselves trapped alongside a lethal creature. The film features renowned horror actress Kathryn Newton (Freaky, Lisa Frankenstein, Abigail, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) among others.
Prime Video has launched an official trailer, teaser poster, and initial promotional images for The Devil’s Mouth. The narrative follows the group as they seek one last thrill along the scenic shores of Thailand before they transition into adult life. Their quest for excitement leads them to a guided exploration of The Devil’s Mouth, a breathtaking yet dangerous natural formation.
However, the serenity quickly dissipates as their exploration turns perilous. A recent storm had swept sea life into the cave, most of which died due to the freshwater environment. Yet, a deadly predator has survived and now lurks in the shadowy waters, presenting a silent yet fatal threat. The cave’s intricate network of passageways conceals imminent dangers, making every turn potentially deadly.
Fear escalates and disorientation sets in, straining friendships and fostering desperation among the group. As trust dwindles, they are forced to make dire choices. Directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2, Imaginary), with a screenplay by Aja Gabel and Myung Joh Wesner, The Devil’s Mouth was once a highly regarded script on the Hollywood Black List of “most-liked” unproduced scripts in 2019.

The Devil’s Mouth will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting July 29.
