Disney+ & Vidio Launch Indonesia Bundle: Cheaper Subscription for Local and Global Shows

Disney+ & Vidio Launch Indonesia Bundle: Cheaper Subscription for Local and Global Shows

Disney+ has taken another step in its international partnership approach by teaming up with a local Indonesian streaming service.

The global platform has partnered with Vidio, the market leader in Indonesia, to introduce a combined subscription offering — Disney’s first such collaboration in the country.

Marketed as the “Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle,” the package pairs Vidio Ultimate All Screen access with Disney+’s standard subscription tier.

Subscribers to the bundle will be able to enjoy Disney+’s worldwide slate — from series like Only Murders in the Building to blockbuster franchises including Star Wars and the Marvel films, as well as regional originals produced for the Asia Pacific market. Those titles will sit alongside Vidio’s local programming rights, such as live coverage of the English Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the BRI Super League, plus Vidio’s live TV channels and original series.

In addition, every Vidio account will receive a specially curated “Taste of Disney+” selection. That collection will feature chosen episodes and series snippets including Korean drama Flex X Cop Season 2, the U.S. crime-comedy drama High Potential, the animated Sofia the First, and the medical series Grey’s Anatomy.

This move is consistent with Disney+’s wider international playbook, which has seen the service arrange content-sharing pacts and bundled deals in markets outside the United States to extend its footprint through local partners.

Tony Zameczkowski, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Direct-to-Consumer in Asia Pacific at The Walt Disney Company, said the tie-up merges Disney+’s acclaimed films and series with Vidio’s locally focused entertainment lineup to boost the viewing experience for both existing fans and new viewers. He noted the agreement is aligned with Disney’s strategy to speed up partnerships across APAC to grow Disney+’s audience, deepen engagement and offer subscribers more value and content options.

Research firm Media Partners Asia reports that Vidio has held the top streaming spot in Indonesia for four consecutive years.

Vidio’s CEO Sutanto Hartono described the collaboration as bringing two complementary entertainment ecosystems together to form one of the country’s most comprehensive premium bundles. He said that as how people watch TV continues to change, viewers increasingly want broader choice and better subscription value. Along with the bundle, Hartono added, the “Taste of Disney+” selection will deliver handpicked Disney stories directly on Vidio, supplementing the platform’s lineup of Indonesian originals and its sports programming.
