Signature Entertainment Secures Rights to “Bone Lake”

Signature Entertainment has officially secured the rights for the UK and Ireland to the horror-thriller film Bone Lake, a production presented by Mister Smith Entertainment.

The movie is set to make its debut in the UK at FrightFest in London this coming August. Later in the year, Bleecker Street will handle the domestic release in the United States.

Directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan, known for her work on Fixation, and scripted by Joshua Friedlander, the film features an ensemble cast including Maddie Hasson (known from Malignant), Alex Roe (The 5th Wave), Marco Pigossi (High Tide), and Andra Nechita (The Sex Lives of College Girls).

The production team includes producers Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, and Jacob Yakob from LD Entertainment, alongside Joshua Friedlander and Jason Blumenfeld. The executive production team is comprised of Mehrdod Heydari and Joseph Yakob for LD Entertainment, with actor Alex Roe also serving in an executive capacity.

Plot and Intrigue of “Bone Lake”

Bone Lake tells the story of a couple who look forward to a romantic and isolated vacation by a lake, only to find their plans disrupted when they must share a luxurious mansion with another intriguing yet enigmatic couple. What begins as an idyllic retreat spirals into a chaotic whirlwind of sex, deceit, and manipulation. This tension-filled scenario exposes dark secrets and leads to a gruesome struggle to stay alive.

The acquisition deal was successfully negotiated by Elizabeth Williams, Chief Commercial Officer at Signature Entertainment, and David Garrett, CEO of Mister Smith Entertainment.
