EXCLUSIVE: Celebrated Mexican actress Adriana Paz, known for her role in the Cannes and Oscar-winning film Emilia Pérez, has recently joined the roster at 42, a management and production company operating in both the UK and the U.S.
Adriana Paz has been honored with three Ariel Awards in Mexico, securing Best Actress for La Tirisia and Best Supporting Actress for both Hilda and La Caridad. Additionally, she received a nomination for the prestigious Goya Award in Spain for her performance in El Autor. Her initial recognition at the Ariel Awards came in 2009 for Rudo Y Cursi, and she was nominated again recently for Dead Man’s Switch.
In a notable achievement at Cannes two years ago, Paz shared the Best Actress award with co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Selena Gomez for their performances in Emilia Perez. In this highly praised crime musical, Paz portrayed Epifanía Flores, the lover of Emilia Perez.
More recently, Paz appeared in the 2026 Sundance film The Huntress, directed by Suzanne Andrews Correa. This film features a narrative centered around a mother who becomes a vigilante in a city plagued by violence against women, which often goes unchecked.
Looking ahead, Paz is set to appear in significant roles in Ben Affleck’s upcoming movie Animals and in Diego Luna’s next project A Mouthful of Ash. This latter film marks a reunion with her Rudo Y Cursi co-star, Luna.
Paz’s ongoing representation continues under the guidance of Raul Simancas.
