EXCLUSIVE: Rodeo FX, a Montreal-based visual effects company, has named Émilie Dussault as its new Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Dussault is renowned for her role in expanding MPC Film Montreal.
This significant appointment coincides with Rodeo FX’s celebration of its 20th anniversary, a milestone reached amid the company’s recent expansion in France through the acquisition of Mikros Animation and its establishment in India over the past year and a half. Rodeo FX’s impressive portfolio includes works on Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, The Rings of Power, John Wick: Chapter 4, Dune, and the more recent House of the Dragon.
Sébastien Moreau, CEO of Rodeo FX, stated that the creation of this new executive role is indicative of the firm’s dedication to enhancing its corporate structure and bolstering its international stature as a pioneer in creative technology.
The responsibilities of Dussault’s role include overseeing government and public affairs, industry relations, as well as brand, marketing, and communications.

Moreau praised Dussault for her unique mix of negotiation skills, industry respect, and a comprehensive grasp of the creative sector, both from operational and policy perspectives.
Dussault has an educational background in Film Production with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, and a Master’s in Management from HEC Montréal. Her career highlights include her instrumental role in establishing and growing the Montreal studio of MPC Film, where she expanded the team to over 1,250 artists and technicians within five years. Additionally, she has served as President of both the Conseil du patronat du Québec (CPQ) and the Bureau du cinéma et de la télévision du Québec (BCTQ).
