CAA Welcomes Director Nick Kozakis
CAA has recently added director Nick Kozakis to their roster, following the debut of his second feature film, Kick On, at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.
The film is scheduled to be showcased next at Fantastic Fest and Beyond Fest. Kick On chronicles the harrowing experience of four young friends who must fight for survival after their partying takes a dangerous turn, resulting in a deadly encounter with a mobster’s son.
Nick Kozakis helmed the film, working from a screenplay penned by Phillip Klimek.
From Debut to Recognition
The Greek-Australian director made his first mark in the film industry with his debut feature, Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism. The horror movie premiered at the Melbourne Film Festival and not only caught the attention of XYZ Films, who acquired it, but also claimed the People’s Choice Award at the Sitges Film Festival. Additionally, it earned three nominations at the AACTA Awards.
Beyond his feature films, Kozakis has an extensive portfolio in directing music videos, with over 100 to his name. Among these, the standout is the video for “Dance Monkey” by Tones and I, which has impressively gathered over 2.3 billion views. His ongoing projects continue under the representation of Brendan Kenney at Mad Delusion.
