Exclusive Insight
EXCLUSIVE: See-Saw Films is reportedly setting the stage for an English-language adaptation of Trust No One, the eagerly awaited Israeli espionage series soon to debut on Keshet 12 and subsequently on Netflix.
The company behind Slow Horses, recently acquired by Mediawan, is in the preliminary phases of development for this project following its inaugural collaboration with the prominent Israeli network, Keshet. Sources indicate that details regarding the creative team and cast are still being finalized, and presently, no broadcasting network has been confirmed. The original series is set to premiere on March 17 and is the brainchild of renowned Israeli creators Ron Leshem, Amit Cohen, and Daniel Amsel.
Trust No One features Yehuda Levi (A Body That Works) in the role of Itamar, the youngest individual ever to lead Israel’s top security agency. Itamar confronts his most formidable challenge yet when a cyber breach jeopardizes his agents, beginning with Shuruk (Luna Mansour). In response, he enlists the help of Yali (Yael Elkana), a former expert in cybersecurity.
Produced by Shenhar Productions, the original Hebrew version of Trust No One is one of Keshet’s most significant forthcoming productions. This nine-episode series was revealed a few years ago and made its global debut at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Following its premiere on Keshet, Trust No One will be available on Netflix in 19 regions, including the U.S. and UK.
Levi is a celebrated figure in Israeli entertainment, known for his roles in A Body that Works, Fire Dance, Mossad 101, and Yossi & Jagger. Additionally, the creative minds behind Trust No One have contributed to several of Israel’s most successful shows, including the original Euphoria.
Should See-Saw secure a distributor for its version of Trust No One, it hopes to replicate the success seen with Apple TV+’s Slow Horses, which has enjoyed significant acclaim and was recently greenlit for a sixth season. Slow Horses features Gary Oldman as the leader of a group of outcast spies and is inspired by Mick Herron’s novels.
Of late, See-Saw has been quite active, achieving notable success with Apple Cider Vinegar, which recently ranked in Netflix’s TV top-10s. The acquisition of See-Saw by France’s Mediawan marks one of the major M&A narratives of 2025. See-Saw had been on the market since the previous year, with Mediawan, which also owns Brad Pitt’s Plan B, acquiring a 51% stake.
Both See-Saw and Keshet have opted not to comment on the details of the English-language version of Trust No One.
